Being a vegan involves abstaining from consuming any animal products, including meat, dairy, eggs, and honey, as well as avoiding products derived from animals such as leather and wool.
Netflix & Chill is now Netflix & Inform! Did you watch “You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment ?” It’s based on an 8-week study conducted by Stanford University that put 22 sets of genetically identical twins on opposing (but healthy) diets: omnivore and
vegan. It was really eye-opening and I’ve seriously been considering a change. It was interesting to know that from the 22 pairs of twins studied, most did go back to an omnivore diet, though including more plant-based meals and reducing intake of meat and cheese or red meat. Could you do it? Are you doing it?
What Does This Mean?
Many of you ( and I mean MANY), have inquired about if I provide vegan cakes. I never realised how many people follow a vegan diet for some reason or other. I truly want to cater to everyone. I’m working hard on making sure my current recipes can be tweaked to your needs without compromising on what you’ve come to love from Love Always, Cake.
Special Ingredients
I’ve already tested my recipes without eggs and let me tell you, IT’S GOOD! As someone with a mild egg allergy, this is a game-changer for me! I’ve also found replacements such as plant-based butter, almond milk and so much more. I will be in the kitchen if you need me but VEGAN CAKES ARE COMING!
